Painting with a Team
Painting a mural sounds fun (and it is), but it’s also a huge team effort. We had students, parents, community volunteers, and even a few people who just stopped by to see what was going on and ended up grabbing a brush.
It wasn’t just about filling in colors. It was about learning to work together, laugh at the drips and smudges, and cheer each other on when a section turned out just right. The mural became more than paint on a wall; it became proof of what can happen when people pitch in for something they care about.
By the time we stepped back to see the finished wall, it didn’t just look like our design. It looked like our whole community had signed their name to it.
